Shadowed freelancers working on Dallas Mavericks broadcasts on MAVS TV, learning how to produce professional-level broadcasts for graphics, audio, tape, video and bug. Operated Xpression graphics for pregame and halftime shows. Tracked sponsored elements and occasionally assisted with background promotional elements for pregame shows in the plaza.
Led a crew of 11 students through a one-semester sports documentary. Determined the creative direction of the film and developed the primary themes. Drafted questions and interviewed key figures to the story, then broke down transcripts and oversaw the writing process. Transferred outline script into A/V script and oversaw the editing process. Led weekly production meetings alongside the student producer. The Roditi Rule won the Award of Excellence in the Student Sports Competition at the 2025 BEA Festival of Media Arts.
Led a media team of 3-10 photographers for 13 weeks, assigning schedules and delegating responsibilities each week. Team was responsible for capturing a photo a day of each camper, editing on Lightroom and uploading 300+ photos each day to Campanion. Scheduled and completed one-on-one check-ins with each team member on a weekly basis. Ensured team’s work fell within Cho-Yeh’s brand guidelines and evaluated their work for marketing potential. Handled parent requests and complaints, addressing issues and needs in a timely manner. Edited staff recap videos on Premiere Pro.
